A disciplined bowling from Pakistan women team restricted India to 96 runs for seven wickets at the end of first innings, with Veda Krishnamurthy (24) being the top scorer. However, no other batsman was able to cross the individual mark of 20 runs for India.

Opener Sidra Ameen’s run-a-ball 26 paved the way for an easy chase for Pakistan which was disrupted by showers in the sixteenth over. The match was unable to continue due to heavy rain and Pakistan won by two runs using Duckworth–Lewis method.
