Ranbir Kapoor refuses to live with his parentsRanbir’s parents Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor is moving out of Krishna Raj for some renovation work which would take too long and the parents want their star son to move in with them so that he might not feel lonely. But Ranbir Kapoor is in no mood to live with his parents and he turned down his dad’s request. Instead, the actor is desperately looking for a perfect bachelor pad.

With Krishna Raj going for complete renovation, Rishi and Neetu will be moving to Wits End Apartments on Hill Road next week, where they own three floors. The doting parents want their son to join them at the new address. But heartbroken Ranbir turned down their request with giving a second thought.

“Ranbir has told his parents downright that he prefers to stay separately, so that he can maintain his privacy,” says a source.

Rishi Kapoor once said in an interview that he and Neetu were totally upset when Ranbir left them and moved in with his girlfriend, “My father gave me space when I moved out after marriage and I give Ranbir his space too when he decided to move out and share a home with his girlfriend. In this house, he had one room: how could that be enough for a 33-year-old boy? He’s a great son, he listens to me but I don’t interfere in his career because my career is mine and his is his. I know I’ve screwed up my relationship with Ranbir even though my wife kept telling me about what I was doing. It’s now too late to change it; both of us will not be able to adjust to the change. It’s like there’s this glass wall, we can see each other, we can talk, but that’s it. He doesn’t live with us anymore, which is also a very big setback to Neetu and me. We’re building a new home where there will be a lot of place for him and his family. Till then, life goes on,” he told Mumbai Mirror in an interview.
