PSL 2017: D/L method gives Karachi 8-run win over Islamabad

SHARJAH: Karachi Kings registered their first win of the Pakistan Super League 2017 as they thrashed the defending champion Islamabad United by 8 runs under Duckworth-Lewis method at Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday.

The 10th match of the league was reduced to 13 overs due to rain.

Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to field in the match. Islamabad United set 90 runs target for losing eight wickets against the Kings.

The Kings scored 75/4 in 9.4 overs. The opener Babar Azam played fantastic innings and made 47 runs off just 30 balls. Azam was the Man of the Match.
