Bob Squad’ collection by Feeha Jamshed 9th PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2016 in Lahore.
Feeha Jamshed’s ‘Bob Squad’ collection at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2016 was inspired by the late 60’s and early 70’s fashion and music. It referenced David Bowie, 60’s art, strokes of color, floral and psychedelic prints, modernized for today’s times.
The collection’s silhouettes varied from short to long and tapered to baggy with new and interesting cuts. ‘Bob Squad’ featured luxe fabrics such as silk, organza, cotton and velvet embellished with textured and layered flowers, pearls, beads, sequins, embroidery and cutwork. The collection’s colour palette was a mix of pastels and a pop of bright colors, predominated by black and white.
Using luxe fabrics embellished with textured and layered flowers, pearls, beads, sequins, embroidery and cutwork, Feeha showed a fusion line that played with structure and texture as well as print. Monocrome was a major theme, punctuated by pops of bright colour and pastels. Nabila’s styling was spot on, giving the presentation a retro yet modern feel.
